Our Mission
Before designing the Angelicum Academy curriculum we came to the realization that an educational program that utilized the liberal arts and the great books (with optional, online Socratic discussion groups), would be more efficacious for students if it were based upon the shared starting points of a common creed as defined and clarified by the Catholic magisterial authority. This is the mission of the Angelicum Academy – to combine the great books, with an intellectual assent to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Our teaching methodology is grounded in Catholic doctrine – which is the great counterpoint to modern errors.
