ANGELICUM CURRICULUM SUPPORT FOR SCHOOLS OR CO-OPS

We have been continuously asked to support Schools and Co-Ops throughout our last 24 years of operation.  This only accelerated during the 2019 COVID epidemic when we made the committment to find a way to honor these requests and help schools & co-ops either fill a gap in either their local curriculum or the curriculum or in what they were using from another provider.  For example, some of our schools & co-ops already had successful K-8 programs but desired additional support for the critical high school years.  We have been honored to help them fill that need. Our college credit recommended High School Great Books program has been a perfect fit for many of these schools and co-ops saving their students thousands of dollars in college costs.  At the end of the day, it is up to each local school or co-op to decide how Angelicum should support them. Of course, we are also able to provide an entire curriculum if that is what a school or co-op desires, and our generous school and co-op discount extends our 20% family discount to every member of the school or co-op for even greater savings where applicable

As might be expected in an authentic classical institution, we are not bureaucratic and do not require schools or co-ops to adhere to a one-size-fits-all model.  When you call us, we want to take time to listen to your description of your school or co-op and its needs.  We then work with you to see what might be a good fit.  You retain control and involve us only to the degree that you are comfortable.  You always retain the ability to teach courses locally or based on curriculum from another provider.  In some cases, some students and parents in co-ops are using another curriculum provider while others in the same school or co-op are using our curriculum.  That works for us.  The Church has made it crystal clear that the parent has primary responsibility for educating their children and we are only here to help when they determine we can do so.  We are very experienced at incorporating all work done locally, through another provider, or from Angelicum on one transcript that has a proven history of being accepted by college institutions at admission for the award of college credit.  Our college credit programs  save thousands of dollars, and our generous school and co-op discount extends our 20% family discount to every member of the school or co-op for even greater savings where applicable.

You are free to advertise your relationship with the Angelicum Academy or not.  If you want us to include you in our marketing, we can do that as well.

The size of the school or co-op does not matter.  In fact, we find that just two families working together ultimately blossoms into something no one could have imagined. If you are already established as a sch0ol or co-op, just call or email us and we can start the process – it really is that simple.  Nothing formal is required.

If you are just starting a school or co-op, we have some helpful ideas here that you can look at to consider what you want to do by way of organizing.  These are not required but here for your information.  The formal name of  schools and co-ops utilizing the Angelicum Great Books Program, are up to you. A Step-by-Step Checklist of Actions that you might want to consider is provided for your reference.  Schools and Co-Ops range from the very informal gatherings of parents and children to formal schools and co-ops. But that is all up to you as well.

Because we already have extensive information about our educational approach on this website, interested persons may familiarize themselves with it in considerable detail, beginning anytime.
